Lots going on

Well, in the long time since I last posted a lot has happened. I have started working part time at Budds Creek, a motocross track. I guy at my station works for the ambulance company that has the contract to provide EMTs. Learned how to ride a quad. Boy, I was I sore the day after that. I also had my first really nasty accident. I was not sure if the guy was going to make it when we putting in the Park Police Helicopter. I found out later he has been released.
Work has been really kicking my butt. I can not wait until I get a program manager in a few weeks, also looking forward to branch chief moving on in July. July will begin the worst time of year at work, but I will survive with the knowledge that one way or another, it will be my last rollover.
I have to take a PT test around the end of the month or beginning of June. I call it the run for the mortgage because if I do not pass, I could get kicked out. I have been working out twice a day most days lately.
Still thinking about running at Waldorf. When Hughesville found out I was thinking about running there some they freaked. I was told they do not want to lose me and within a week I had a pager. Already had one from Waldorf, even though I had not applied. My buddy at Waldorf says just come and run when ever, don't have to worry about joining. I just want to run more calls and get better. Some at my station see it as being a traitor or something.
